Auggie's Pool Room Detail

For most of the years we were in Paia, Auggie's pool room was just next door. We became friends with some of the sweetest local men who regularly spent their time there. I used to go over occasionally and shoot some pool. I'm not very good. Getting better I should say. When the pool room closed the family switched the pool room over to a shave ice stand. We still love to stop buy and visit the family. Auggie's grand daughter posed as one of the characters in my illustrations for Angkat.
