Silver Medley
An early winter's morning, Kuerner's farm blanketed again with a silver medley of cool shadows and glistening white hillsides. The brightness is reflected on the farm pond and the storm windows. All of Kuerner's features stand out as beautiful vignettes against contrasting light.
My angel sleeps, just now drifting off five thousand miles away and six hours behind. She is my life line and my reason for living, Without Sandy, I have little reason to care about beautiful things. Sandy is why I paint, why I get up early happy to find new ways to see her smile. The melancholy of this cold winter has little effect on my spirit. My warmth and happiness are intact. Sandy's light brings a bit of Shangri La which lives inside of me.
