Dappled Light And Dinner Bell
George Evans a great photographer from South street in Philadelphia heard me say I'd painted the same scenes several times, He pointed out an artist could paint a bowl of fruit a thousand times and still find new ways of seeing it. I use that lesson often because i am often pulled to the same subject again and again. Each time I pass this area I re-see it and want to approach it again. There is more spirit here than anywhere else on the farm. Yes there is spirit in abundance everywhere on this beautiful sight I just feel it most right here.— Eddie Flotte
