Crackle Of Morning Sun
Early mornings at Kuerner's farm quiet and serene. I arrive before the sun and often choose a point of as I am making my way up to park my vehicle. Slowly I pull down the drive, past the spring house, past the barn and up behind the wood shed. Tools in hand I start back down on foot framing each possible point of view in my mind. Into the barn , into the milk room, I draw some water from the trough. By now the dawn provides enough visibility to set up and begin. Experience tells me the sun will appear soon over the far hill an bring with it a new set of interesting lights and darks. I work quickly to catch the first crease of light against the shady silhouettes.— Eddie Flotte
