Awakeningg

Very early mornings at Kuerner's I arrive with no idea what I plan to paint; I only know there is always something. Many times I don't get past the front drive before i've decided to sit right down and work there. Though I have done it so many times it always strikes me with new inspiration. This area too is hard to pass by. I have done it so many time but it continues to interest me. As light hits the side of the shingled porch I imagine the Kuerners inside beginning to stir. As farmers I am sure reality had them up long before the sun.
