An abundance of solitude for a watercolor painter in search of a place to hide away. ..Be alone with my thoughts and my work. I remember a time when I loved to be out on the street, the busier the better. Horns honking hello throughout the day. I'd wave blindly to acknowledge their friendly gesture. Now I find myself more often in places like this, quietly studying the bright light shining through some tropical leaves against the relative incandescent darkness inside the hui pottery barns. I am grateful for the hospitality here. A paper sign reads, do not leave augers in water unplug when done. Easy rules to follow.— Eddie Flotte
