Mr. Kuerner's Truck
Because Mr. Kuerner had already cut hay and the weather began to change before he could get it baled and put away, he got it into the truck and kept it here out of the rain. Normally the truck was empty, so when I saw it filled with hay I realized I'd better catch it while I had the chance. In the background you can see a burm that was once a railroad track. N.C. Wyeth, Andrew's father the famous illustrator, lost his life there in 1945, at the crossing on Ring road, when his car stalled on the track just to the left out of the picture frame.— Eddie Flotte
