Spillway On Kuerner's Pond
It was such a pleasure going down to the pond to paint ... I love the sound of running water, fish, turtles, frogs, cat tails and all of the birds, Especially the barn swallows who drop in regularly for an in flight drink of water. I included that in another version of this scene finished before this one. I don't know how long this piece of tin roofing has been in the water but there is such a piece of tin roof in a painting done of the spillway by Andrew Wyeth about 40 years ago or more.
