During my trip to greece in the late '80s, I rode all over on a mo-ped and ferries. I camped on beaches. I found old wooden fishing boats everywhere. They are one of my favorite things to paint. Sometimes in the water sometimes out. They are definitely more difficult while in the water because they move constantly. They are always cluttered with interesting detail, weathered surfaces and beautiful curved lines.
