Frenchman in the Park by Eddie Flotte

Frenchman in the Park
Every weekday afternoon during my stays in Paris I'd head across the city to the Alliance Francais where I did my best to learn the language. My treck to me through the Luxenburg Gardens, where men sat playing checkers. It was perfect for scetching. They never flinched, would occasionally come to see my drawing but mostly just carry on being Frenchmen plain checkers.— Eddie Flotte
