Lonely Blue Of Winter
The shortness of the day and the isolation brought on by frigid weather brings with it a melancholy that fringes on loneliness. Rarely do I omit windows or trees or most other things that actually populate the subjects of my interest. Here, however, a lot has been left out, leaving behind a sparseness that implies sadness, solitude, longing, the last fleeting remnants of hopefulness.
