Chestnut Hill Train Station
Two lamps from once upon a time add a promise of warmth on a winters day, Chestnut hill West, keeps its promise at the top of the hill. Jimmy's there, ever ready with your paper and gum, a septa pass, postage stamps. He sips cocoa, a thoughtful gesture from the Hill Cafe', just paying it forward. The trees show no sign of budding. Spring has broken it's agreement. The distant whistle says the trains on time. It's a stop away. Highland Avenue, just around the bend— Eddie Flotte
