The Bateman House

Torn and weathered asphalt siding and a tattered American flag draw my painterly interest. The boat I came to paint must be out working the bay; checking traps? I don't know. This is a fine substitute ...a reason to set up and work. No one comes across to check my progress. No one stirs. Bivalve, a small area near Port Norris New Jersey, on the Delaware Bay. Life here is about the bay, their boats, and their traditions.
