NORTH WALES NEWS AGENCY  WATERCOLOR

Though I haven't spent much time in North Wales
I pass through it a lot.
Every time I passed this scene something would hit me.
I'd go around the block to check and bang there it was again
... a feeling that everything about it was just right.
And it's all emotionally charged.
That's a thing I know I have to paint.
I sat right next to the tracks of the Lansdale Local
for a few freezing cold days.
I took my breaks in the store to warm up with coffee
and a pack of TastyKakes.
The building originally functioned as a cigar factory.
When the News Agency closed it became obvious that
people all over were sentimentally attached to it.
